Registering a Group

preconditionTo register a group, you must register the one-touch destinations to be added to the group in advance.

  1. Tap [Utility] - [Utility] - [Store Address] - [Group] - [New Registration].

    supplementary explanationTo edit or delete a registered destination, specify the target destination in the destination list, and select [Edit] or [Delete].

  2. Enter destination information.

  3. Tap [OK].

Setting

Description

[Name]

Enter the destination name (using up to 24 single-byte characters or 12 double-byte characters).

[Sort Character]

You can sort destinations by registration name in accordance with the entered text in this field (using up to 24 single-byte characters or 12 double-byte characters).

[Index]

Select an index to search for a destination using the registered name.

For a frequently used destination, select the [Favorite] check box. The destinations are displayed on the destination selection screen, enabling the user to easily select a destination.

[Scan/Fax Address]

Select the one-touch destinations you want to include in the group from [Search from List].

You can register up to 500 one-touch destinations in a group. If necessary, different types of one-touch destinations can be registered as one group.

[Check Destination]

Allows you to view one-touch destinations registered in a group.
